So You Want To Get Into the Business...As you may or may not know, I'm a gallery owner and I paint for a living, and it's the best job I can think of. I've had a lot of jobs, but this one is particularly rewarding and fun - it's one of the few careers you can have where you get up in the morning and say, "Excellent! I get to go to work today!"
But I'm often asked, "How in the world do I get into the business?" I have a few tips for those who are just starting out that might help. These are fairly general tips, but I think they'll be of particular help to traditional artists.
